Day 1: Arrived to the hotel in Moshi for briefing and equipment check.

Day 2: Transfer to Umbwe Gate 1800m, register and start your 5 -6 hours trek through Montane forest. Overnight at First Encampment (2,800m).

Day 3: Leave the forest, ascend on the open moorland for 4 -5 hours to reach the Semi Desert areas. Overnight at Barranco Camp (3900m)

Day 4: You will continue up a challenging steep ridge, past the Barranco Wall, then drop to the Karanga Valley for overnight. The trek takes 4 hours to Karanga (4200m) through Alpine Desert.

Day 6: After a wakeup call at midnight, and a cup of tea with biscuits, ascend north-westerly through heavy scree. This challenging part of the trek takes you to Stella Point (5685m) (6hours), for a short rest and magnificent sunrise views. You then continue for another 2 hours on snow to reach the ice capped peak of Uhuru Point (5895m).

After a memorable moment at the peak, we descend down to Barafu Hut for refreshments and to allow the porters to rest, before heading down to Mweka Hut (1650m) (7-8 hours descend).

Day 7: Enjoy your final moments on Kilimanjaro with a walk in the forest towards Mweka Gate (3 -4hours) , where you will pick your certificates and be transferred back to your hotel for a long awaited Hot Shower.

Day 8: Transfer to airport or start your next tour.
